CANAL DE RUBEJOS

WHY THIS ROUTE?

The route beings at the town of Allende, located in the Hermida gorge, at the foot of the imposing walls of Cueto Agero.

It leads us along the banks of Rubejo river, between Holm oak forests and riverbank vegetation, to the village of Cabañes.

From there, we will start a steep ascent on a concrete track that will lead us first to the town of Bejes, to later take a detour to the East. By taking this new path, we will cross the winter animal shelters, and we will get close enough to the imposing Southern face of the Agero Peak, known by all large walls climbers all over the nation.
