WHY DO THIS ROUTE?
We start from the Alto del Asón, an emblematic point where we can see the source of the river that gives its name to the valley, and that in the form of a great waterfall gives us a spectacular image.
After a simple track, the route takes us into a very special labyrinthine landscape modeled on limestone and mixed with areas of native forest and some scattered livestock hut still in use.
On the route we will cross a spectacular beech forest, shortly after to go out to open land and finally reach the Hill Peak, of 1441 meters of altitude. To return to the starting point we will cross a landscape of rock in the form of a ballast product of glacial erosion.
