WHY THIS ROUTE?
From the Mirador de la Fuente del Chivo, inside the Alto Campoo Ski Resort, we will begin our walk along a simple track. As we move forward, we will enter a hanging path, which implies the need for maximum attention due to the inclination of the terrain.
We will walk along the division separating the Valle de Polaciones (Cantabria) and the Valle de Los Redondos (Palencia), until we reach the Peña Labra Peak, with its 2017 meters of altitude.
Given the location, the route and the altitude, it is a route that offers spectacular views of the Picos de Europa, the Palentina Mountain and the Sierra de Peña Sagra on clear days.
