PORRACOLINA PEAK

WHY THIS ROUTE?

We start from the road that joins Calseca and the Alto de los Machucos. We need to cross a cattle grid by car and shortly afterwards, we will see a small parking lot on our right to leave the car.

From that same road, we can already observe the marked canal through which we will have to start our ascent. Once this first canal is completed, we will enter a flat area with several cabins for livestock, some of which are still used today.

We will walk towards the East next, to go towards a steep hill.

Once there, we will completely change course to now go, first, middle slope towards the Southeast, to finally start the final ascent to Porracolina peak.
